Monthly LULAC Membership Council meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at Trejo's Mexican Restaurant, 5815 Youree Dr, Shreveport, LA. Click here for a map.
JUNE 2010 UPDATE: The regular first Thursday LULAC Council 16001 meeting will be postponed until Sunday, June 13 at 1:30pm. We will conduct elections with our regular business. The Cinco de Mayo volunteer party will take place after the meeting from 3-6pm. If you would like to run for any of the officer positions or would like to nominate anyone, please let Armando Garza know as soon as possible. A final ballot will be available at the meeting.

Key Dates for 2010:
February 4: Scholarship application mass distribution.
April 9: Scholarship applications DUE!
Friday, May 7: Cinco Fiesta Kick-Off Party, 6-9pm at Boomtown Casino Poolside. Admission complimentary to corporate sponsors and media. $3 for Shreveport Chamber members and $5 for non-Chamber members.
Saturday/Sunday, May 8-9: Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Shreveport Downtown Festival Plaza
June 4-5: La Cima at Centenary College
